Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Schedule: Full-Time, 32–40 hours/week with rotating Saturdays | Location: Enon, OH | Pay: $19.00 /hour, based on experience and credentials
Job Summary
Enon Veterinary Hospital is seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to provide hands-on patient care and clinical support in a varied, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate has strong experience with anesthesia, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, and surgical support and enjoys working with different doctors, caseloads, and workflows. Experienced veterinary assistants with strong clinical skills may also be considered.
Qualifications - Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
- Strong veterinary clinical and patient-care skills
- Experience with anesthesia and anesthesia monitoring
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads, workflows, and doctor preferences
- Ability to work full-time, 32–40 hours per week, including rotating Saturdays
Preferred
- Current Ohio RVT certification
- Veterinary dentistry experience
- Surgical support experience
- Experience performing radiographs
- Experience collecting and processing samples for in-house and reference laboratories
Responsibilities - Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
- Monitor anesthesia and provide support during surgical procedures
- Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures
- Take diagnostic radiographs
- Collect samples for in-house and reference laboratory testing
- Provide treatments and hands-on patient care
- Educate clients on patient care, treatments, medications, and follow-up needs
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, procedures, and patient care
- Collaborate with doctors and team members to maintain high-quality patient care
- Adapt to varying caseloads, workflows, and doctor preferences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
