What You'll Do
- Assist the lead teacher in preparing and delivering daily instructional materials.
- Provide small group and one-on-one academic support to students needing extra assistance.
- Help manage classroom behavior and enforce school rules to maintain a safe environment.
- Supervise students during recess, lunch periods, field trips, and transitions between classes.
- Organize classroom supplies and maintain a clean, orderly learning space.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting process.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience and adaptability in a fast-paced classroom environment.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Experience working with students who have special educational needs.
