Role Description
This is a on-site role for a Hospice Volunteer located at multiple locations around the Greater Atlanta GA. area. The Hospice Volunteer will provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, engaging in meaningful conversations, offering respite for primary caregivers. Volunteers also participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and may be involved in arranging or supporting activities that enhance the patient's quality of life.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide empathy, support, and companionship
- Ability to work independently and provide assistance to patients and families
- Commitment to preserving patient dignity and confidentiality in all interactions
- Organizational and time management skills to assist effectively with patient needs
- Ability to provide emotional resilience and approach situations with sensitivity
- Previous hospice or caregiving experience is a plus but not required
- TB test, Background Check and Fingerprinting
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
