What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Estimator II position at Enlink?
EnLink is seeking a results-driven Project Estimator to join our high-performance team in Dallas, Texas. This role will report to the Project Controls Director and work side by side with the other project estimators.
- Partner with Engineering Leadership, Project Managers, Cost Analyst, Schedulers and others in Engineering to support the needs of creating project estimates along with other project data analysis.
- Create/improve tools and reports in Excel to aid in creating and communicating estimates.
- Assist with other Project Control activities as needed (such as KPI and benchmarking tracking and analysis)
- Produce ad hoc reports and/or analysis as requested.
- Occasional travel to job sites as it is needed to aid in the understanding of larger projects or support persons not located in Dallas (3-6 trips per year).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; major in engineering, actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or a related field preferred.
- 2 experience in estimating or with projects related to oil and gas.
- Need to be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task while working quickly and independently are keys to this job's success.
- Basic knowledge of construction processes, compressors, pipelines, and equipment and terminology preferred.
- Knowledge of construction estimation processes is a bonus.
