What are the responsibilities and job description for the URGENT - Nurse Delegated CNA in Elma position at Enlightenment Home Care?
We are urgently seeking caregivers to assist us with a male client in Elma who is paralyzed from the sternum down. He needs help with his bowel program 3 days a week. There are 5 dogs in the house - they are very friendly but loud. Looking to start a caregiver ASAP
Required Credentials:
- HCA and/or CNA
- Nurse Delegation
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience
- CPR certificate
- Food handler permit
- Valid driver's license or state ID
Skills Needed:
- Proven experience as a caregiver
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
General Client Needs
- Assistance with Bowel Program 3 days/week
Pay: $21.50 - $28.00 per hour
