What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Enlightenment Home Care LLC?
We are seeking caregivers to assist us with several clients in Thurston County. We have clients in Olympia, Lacey, Shelton, and Elma, with more being scheduled all the time. Please reach out if you are interested in doing important work supporting your community
Required Credentials:
- HCA or CNA preferred
- CPR certificate
- Food handler permit
- Valid driver's license or state ID
Skills Needed:
- Proven experience as a caregiver
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
General Client Needs (Varies from client to client):
- Household Care (laundry, meal prep, mopping)
- Personal Care (bathing/toileting assistance, dressing, shaving)
- Wellness (companionship, conversation, stand by assist)
