Responsibilities

• Develop customized curricula and lesson plans that align with students’ academic levels, learning styles, and goals.
• Deliver engaging tutoring sessions across various subjects, including early childhood education, elementary, secondary, or adult education.
• Utilize innovative learning technologies and digital tools to enhance the educational experience.
• Assess students’ progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure continuous improvement.
• Manage classroom dynamics during one-on-one or small group sessions, maintaining a positive and motivating environment.
• Support students with special educational needs by implementing tailored instructional strategies and accommodations.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents or guardians regarding progress, challenges, and next steps.
• Maintain accurate records of lessons delivered, student progress reports, and session notes.
• Stay current with educational best practices, curriculum development trends, and advancements in learning technology.
• Foster a safe and nurturing space that promotes confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.

Skills

• Strong expertise in curriculum development tailored to diverse learner needs.
• Proficiency with learning technology platforms and digital educational tools.
• Proven experience in tutoring across various age groups and subjects preferred, but not required
• Solid teaching skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and engagingly.
• Effective classroom management techniques for both children and teens.
• Experience working with children.
• Knowledge of special education strategies for learners with unique needs or disabilities is preferred.
• Expertise in lesson planning that aligns with educational standards and individual goals.
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with students and collaborate with parents or guardians.
• Experience working in childcare environments or classroom settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods for all learning styles

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.50 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 25 per week
