1099 Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurse
At Enlightened Recovery, we provide exceptional medical and clinical services. We are seeking a part time Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurse to deliver services to patients with substance use disorders, to support our mission to offer patient-centered care. This position requires at least one shift to be on-site.
The Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurse provides medical oversight, training, and direct patient care.
- Develop and Implement medical protocols for Enlightened Recovery in consultation with Medical Director and Director of Nursing.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including counselors, therapists, and medical staff, to provide a multidisciplinary approach to treatment.
- Assess and evaluate through completion of H&P with patients and records diagnostic impression within 24 hrs. of patient arrival/admission
- Provide psychiatric services for clients, including but not limited to psychiatric assessment follow ups and medication management.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, incorporating medication management.
- Signs off on lab results and medication orders in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric-mental health.
- Current and in Good Standing APN license in NJ, with prescriptive authority.
- Current DEA & CDS Registration.
- Maintain Current CPR & First Aid Certification.
- Demonstrated experience in psychiatric nursing, preferably within a substance abuse treatment setting.
