What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psych Nurse Practitioner -PRN 1099 position at Enlightened Recovery?
At Enlightened Recovery, we provide exceptional medical and clinical services. We are seeking a PD and 1099 Psych Nurse Practitioners to deliver services to patients with substance use disorders, to support our mission to offer patient-centered care.
The role provides medical oversight, training, and direct patient care:
- Implements medical detox protocols for Enlightened Recovery in consultation with Medical Director and Director of Nursing.
- Assesses and evaluates through completion of H&P with patients and records diagnostic impression within 24 hrs. of patient arrival/admission
- Signs off on lab results and medication orders in a timely manner.
- Reviews health medications on admissions and updates prescriptions as needed.
- Provides on-call services to 24-hour nursing staff.

Knowledge and Training Required:
- Demonstrates Expertise in Performing Nursing Assessment
- Possesses Knowledge of Nursing Process; Utilization Review Processes.
- Knowledge of ASAM Placement criteria and DSM diagnostic criteria.
- Demonstrates knowledge in treating chemically dependent persons.
