Nurse Practitioner - Part Time OR 1099
At Enlightened Recovery, we provide exceptional medical and clinical services. We are seeking either a Part-Time or a 1099 Nurse Practitioner to deliver services to patients with substance use disorders, to support our mission to offer patient-centered care up to 20 hours a week.
The role provides medical oversight, training, and direct patient care:
- Implements medical detox protocols for Enlightened Recovery in consultation with Medical Director and Director of Nursing.
- Assesses and evaluates through completion of H&P with patients and records diagnostic impression within 24 hrs. of patient arrival/admission
- Signs off on lab results and medication orders in a timely manner.
- Reviews health medications on admissions and updates prescriptions as needed.
- Provides on-call services to 24-hour nursing staff.

Knowledge and Training Required:
- Demonstrates Expertise in Performing Nursing Assessment
- Possesses Knowledge of Nursing Process; Utilization Review Processes.
- Knowledge of ASAM Placement criteria and DSM diagnostic criteria.
- Demonstrates knowledge in treating chemically dependent persons.
Job Requirement
- Education: Graduate from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a master’s degree in nursing.
- Experience: Mandatory - Minimum of 1 year experience, in a substance abuse detox or equivalent.
Licensure/Certifications:
- Must have active Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) Specialty Certification Michigan (MI) license in good standing.
- Current and Valid unrestricted DEA Registration.
- Maintains current CPR & First Aid certification
Salary : $95,393 - $132,201
