Part-Time Music (Piano, Guitar, Voice, other)
Ability to confidently teach Beginner and Intermediate Level Music/Piano/Guitar Lessons Required
Voice, Violin, Ukulele, other instruments, and Music Theory are not required but are desired.
Who We Are
Enlightened Learning (www.eltutoringandart.com) is a small locally-owned learning center staffed with tutors that are passionate about guiding students to reach their academic goals. We believe that each student is unique in the way they absorb, utilize, and retain information most effectively. Our tutors/instructors are dedicated to meeting each student where they’re at by personalizing the learning process to match their individual learning needs. We offer tutoring for all ages, grades, and subjects.
Who We Are Looking For
Applicants should be passionate about helping support learning and art in our community. They need to have a High School diploma or its equivalent and be able to supply proof of their education level. Since this will be an in-person tutoring position, applicants are also required to have reliable transportation and excellent time-management skills. Applicants should also be able to respond to emails on a regular basis, meet with management periodically via Zoom, and have the ability to self-manage effectively. We are looking for tutors and teachers able to teach private tutoring sessions, small group tutoring sessions and homeschool pod classes.
It is preferred but not required that tutors/teachers are able to teach at various levels. Additional subjects are also welcome.
The primary schedule for this position runs through the school year, Monday-Friday September-June with opportunity for summer hours. Weekend work is optional.
