We are currently seeking a licensed Counselor or Social Worker to join our team for in-person counseling services at our Perrysburg office.

Position Overview

The Licensed Counselor or Social Worker provides outpatient mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, and families in a supportive private practice setting. This role includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, and ongoing therapeutic care while maintaining ethical and professional standards.

This positions are available as either full-time or part-time:

• Part-time clinicians must be available during high-demand “prime time” hours, including evenings (4:00 PM or later) and/or weekends.
• Full-time clinicians are expected to maintain at least 8 hours of weekly prime time availability while carrying a typical private practice caseload of approximately 20–25 client sessions per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, and family counseling for clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Conduct assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and professional standards.
• Manage and maintain an appropriate caseload.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in a supportive team environment.
• Provide compassionate, client-centered care grounded in evidence-based practices.

Required Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work
• Active Ohio license as an LPC or LSW.
• Familiarity with mental health assessment tools and treatment modalities.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload responsibly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Ohio License as a LISW, LPCC or Psychologist
• Experience providing individual and couples therapy.
• Demonstrated comfort discussing faith, spirituality, values, and meaning as part of the therapeutic process when requested by clients.
• Specialized training in a specific modality (e.g., Gottman, EMDR, DBT, etc)
