Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes and baked goods with precision, artistry, and attention to detail, ensuring each creation meets quality standards and customer specifications
• Prepare bakery items including pastries, bread, and other baked goods through food production and food preparation techniques
• Package baked products efficiently and attractively for customer purchase or catering orders
• Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about ingredients or dietary needs, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
• Restock display cases, ingredients, packaging supplies, and ensure all bakery equipment is functioning properly
• Support catering events by preparing baked goods and assisting with setup as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts;
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with food handling safety protocols
• Knowledge of food industry standards related to food safety, sanitation, and quality control
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is advantageous
• Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and food production processes
