What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at Enjet Aero, LLC?
Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description:
The driver reports directly to the Materials manager. The position is responsible for delivering material to customers and suppliers. Candidate must have a clean driving record and be able to communicate and maintain schedules. The driver will support material control activities when not on the road.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Safely operates cargo van for product delivery and pickup.
- Safely operates forklift and pallet truck to move materials.
- Assist with loading and unloading of cargo.
- Keeps all boxes, skids, totes, etc. organized in designated stage areas
- Package parts and material for shipment to customer and outside services
- Maintains trace on all material coming in and out of stock
- Backfills for material control, shipping & receiving as required
- Follows all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Possess a valid driver's license
- 5 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
- Basic keyboarding ability
- Prior experience working with Inventory Control Systems preferred
