Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in system architecture, solution design, and integration within enterprise environments. This role involves collaborating with clients to implement, optimize, and maintain Workday solutions, ensuring seamless integration with various IT systems and infrastructure. The Workday Consultant will leverage a broad technical skill set, including knowledge of service-oriented architecture, cloud security, and system design, to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs. Responsibilities

• Analyze client requirements and develop comprehensive Workday solution architectures aligned with business objectives.
• Design and implement integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop system design specifications, ensuring compatibility with existing IT infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, VMware, and virtualization platforms.
• Manage system configuration and customization within Workday modules while adhering to best practices in system hardening and security protocols.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement system hardening measures to ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
• Support the deployment of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, and DevOps practices for efficient development cycles.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to system performance, load balancing, network connectivity (VPN, DNS), firewalls, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
• Provide expertise in solution architecture for microservices, cloud security, and system management strategies across diverse platforms including SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL solutions.
• Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to SDLC activities such as system design reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Workday Consultant or in a similar enterprise systems role with a strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and solution architecture principles.
• Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure components including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtualization (VMware, ESXi), networking (DNS, DHCP), and system administration.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, C , Shell Scripting, Ruby on Rails, VBA; familiarity with scripting for automation purposes.
• Hands-on experience with APIs (RESTful API), web services (SOAP), DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong background in database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL; experience with data integration tools like ETL is preferred.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices including threat intelligence, vulnerability management/assessment, system hardening techniques, cloud security measures, VPNs, firewalls.
• Familiarity with enterprise software development methodologies such as Agile or SDLC frameworks; experience working within DevOps environments is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues across multiple systems; strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
