Position Overview
We are an established integrative wellness and regenerative medicine clinic in Albuquerque seeking a dependable and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team on a part-time basis.
We are looking for an RN who is confident working directly with patients in an outpatient environment and has strong hands-on IV and infusion therapy experience.
The ideal candidate is clinically confident, professional, organized, and comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with providers and the clinical team.
Hourly rate will be determined based on experience and qualifications, including years of nursing experience, clinical background, IV and infusion competency, education, and relevant training.
Responsibilities
- Start peripheral IVs and provide IV therapy within applicable nursing scope and clinic protocols
- Administer and monitor infusion therapies
- Assess patients before, during, and after treatment
- Administer medications and injections as ordered and appropriate
- Monitor patients for treatment response and potential adverse reactions
- Obtain and document vital signs and relevant patient information
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies
- Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
- Support providers during treatments and procedures
- Follow infection-control, safety, and clinical protocols
- Maintain treatment areas, supplies, and equipment readiness
- Collaborate with providers and team members to provide a professional and positive patient experience
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in New Mexico
- Hands-on clinical nursing experience
- Strong IV insertion skills
- Experience administering and monitoring IV infusions
- Comfortable working with a variety of patients and venous-access needs
- Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Dependable and comfortable working independently in an outpatient environment
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following is beneficial:
- Difficult IV access
- PICC lines, ports, or other vascular access
- Infusion therapy
- Functional or integrative medicine
- Regenerative medicine
- Wellness or private-practice settings
- Outpatient procedural care
- Aesthetic medicine
- Hormone or regenerative procedures
