Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine engines, electrical systems, and other mechanical components.
- Diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for tasks such as soldering, welding, and fabricating parts as needed.
- Conduct inspections of vessels to identify potential problems and recommend solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vessel's needs and repair status.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete larger projects efficiently.
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience as a service technician or mechanic preferred.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices applicable to marine vessels. .
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Competence in using various hand tools and equipment specific to marine repair tasks.
- Experience in fabricating parts or components when necessary.
