SUMMARY
We are seeking a Packaging Sales Lead to work remotely but must be based in Denver, Colorado or Phoenix, Arizona. Offering a solid base salary, plus commissions, profit sharing, car allowance, and much more. If you have strong sales experience in the packaging industry, we want to talk to you!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage multi-state sales territory in partnership with Leadership and other Key Sales Professionals
- Interact and build relationships with customers' local branch personnel, both leadership and field sales, to drive sales
- Partner closely with Sales Managers and local representatives to identify opportunities to grow the complete portfolio of products in our profile
- Lead and facilitate regular sales meetings/trainings within the territory, as needed
- Schedule end-user calls independently or in partnership with company.
- Leverage knowledge within all verticals to include traditional distribution & wholesale
- Identify, secure, and grow regional and chain businesses to increase overall market share
- Attend regional trade shows/events, as needed
- In conjunction with Sales Directors: Identify account targets, maintain/grow margins, and manage contract deviations
- Build strong relationships with customer contacts to build relevance and make company “front of mind” for category needs
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role in B2B sales in the packaging industry.
- Experience with product demonstrations and solutions; and knowledge transfer
- Superior market and customer knowledge
- Strong understanding of the Mountain West Region market
- Ability to identify customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Ability to promote a positive company image and develop long-term customer relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Ability to travel 25-30% of the time
