Role Summary

Responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our most important clients. This role involves working closely with high-value customers to understand their needs, ensure successful implementation and adoption of our SaaS products, and drive long-term business growth. The KAM will act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, providing strategic support and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Account Management:

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned key accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Understand and anticipate the needs and objectives of key accounts to provide tailored solutions and strategies.
  • Monitor account health and performance, proactively addressing any issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Customer Success:

  • Oversee the successful onboarding and implementation of SaaS solutions for key accounts, coordinating with internal teams as needed.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to review their use of the product, identify areas for improvement, and recommend additional features or services.
  • Provide training and support to ensure clients are fully leveraging the SaaS platform to meet their goals.

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute account plans and strategies to drive growth and maximize the value delivered to each key account.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their long-term objectives and align our solutions to support their strategic goals.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional features or services to existing clients.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Track and report on key account metrics, including usage, satisfaction, and renewal rates.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients to communicate progress, successes, and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze account performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales activities.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and support teams to address client needs and provide feedback for product improvements.
  • Participate in client meetings, workshops, and events to strengthen relationships and showcase our SaaS solutions.

Customer Advocacy:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to key accounts, advocating for their needs and ensuring they receive exceptional service.
  • Address and resolve client issues and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience and high levels of client satisfaction


Requirements

Industry & Experience

  • 5–7 years in fitness / personal training management, ideally at a regional, multi-club, or cluster manager level.
  • Proven track record of managing P&L, trainer performance, and member engagement across multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of personal training KPIs (session utilization, PT revenue, trainer productivity, retention).
  • Previous exposure to SaaS or digital tools for fitness management a strong plus.

Account Management & Business Skills

  • Experience managing enterprise-level accounts with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze performance data, identify growth opportunities, and create improvement plans with clients.
  • Strong contract management and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in upselling, retention, and expansion of accounts.

Leadership & Communication

  • Strong executive presence; comfortable leading discussions with senior club executives.
  • Skilled at training and coaching managers on operational best practices.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills (able to simplify complex data into actionable insights).

Operational Mindset

  • Highly organized with ability to run structured business reviews (QBRs, KPI deep dives, roadmap discussions).
  • Time management discipline — able to balance client demands with internal coordination.
  • Problem-solver with a proactive, “ownership first” mindset.


Nice-to-Have

  • Prior role in SaaS implementation, customer success, or digital transformation in fitness.
  • Six Sigma or similar process improvement exposure.
  • Familiarity with legacy fitness management systems (ABC, MindBody, etc.).
