Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Assist in designing and managing data warehouses and data lakes.
- Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Monitor data quality and troubleshoot pipeline issues.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to support business requirements.
- Work with cloud platforms and big data technologies to process large datasets.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.
- Basic understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to tools like Apache Spark, Airflow, Databricks, or Snowflake is a plus.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
- Understanding of data modeling and database design.
- Relevant certifications are an added advantage.
