Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of high-quality patient care by assisting dentists during procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring a clean and efficient clinical environment. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and adherence to infection control protocols. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques
- Take dental X-rays, ensuring proper safety and technique standards are followed
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with medical imaging procedures including 3D scanning
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure proper functioning of dental equipment
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical documentation, and coordinating with the dental reception team
Skills
- Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures
- Ability to interpret dental terminology and anatomy knowledge relevant to general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatrics
- Experience with X-ray procedures, medical imaging, and 3D scanners preferred
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security
- Excellent chairside assisting skills including
- Effective communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Scanning on iTero
- Coronal Polish
- Making temporary crowns

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
