Front Desk Receptionist
Enhanced Dental Care is looking for a warm, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in Winter Garden. You will be the first person our patients meet and the voice they hear when they call our office. Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments.
- Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility.
- Check patients in and out efficiently.
- Present treatment plans and discuss financial options.
- Collect patient payments and maintain accurate records.
- Confirm appointments and help fill the schedule.
- Coordinate with the clinical team to keep the day running smoothly.
- Respond to patient inquiries by phone, text, and email.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous dental front desk or dental receptionist experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using dental practice management software.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to policies
- Coordinate patient treatment plans and communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures, financial options, and scheduling
- Manage financial aspects including budgeting, billing, coding, and fiscal management to optimize revenue cycle processes
- Supervise administrative staff, providing training and support in medical office procedures and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure documentation aligns with HIPAA regulations and legal requirements
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as Dentrix for scheduling, billing, and record management
- Oversee human resources functions including staffing, performance evaluations, and staff development
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as JCAHO accreditation and managed care protocols
- Support clinical staff with medical administrative support tasks related to medical management and acute care procedures
- Monitor clinic supplies inventory and coordinate procurement as needed
- Implement process improvements to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare management roles with a strong understanding of dental clinic operations
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Eaglesoft, Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, Epic or similar platforms
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations (JCAHO)
- Supervisory experience managing administrative or clinical teams within a healthcare setting
- Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting and financial oversight
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Background in dental administrative support or practice management preferred
- Experience with medical billing, coding, managed care plans, and utilization management is advantageous
- Prior experience in acute or hospital care settings is a plus but not required
