Marine Retail Sales Representative

Marine Retail Sales Position (Eureka, CA)

Englund Marine, a leader in the Marine and Fishing industry, is looking for an experienced retail salesperson who is knowledgeable in marine and boating products for our Eureka, CA location. This is a full-time temporary summer position. If you are an upbeat individual who likes working with the public and being a part of a growing company where your efforts can make a difference, then this is the job for you!

Our store and our customers need a person who really enjoys working with customers to be the solution to all of their product needs. The ideal candidate has a marine product background and is a hard-working team player who has a cheerful, upbeat personality, who wants to be an active driver of the success of the company where they work!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Working with retail customers to find the right parts for their needs

· Research hard to find product to help people find those parts that are not currently in stock. We pride ourselves on helping every customer fill their boating and fishing needs!

· Process customer orders using a computer system

· Purchase some products directly from vendors

· Merchandise the store to facilitate additional sales

· Restock shelves from back stock and new shipments

Skills Required:

· KNOWLEDGE OF BOATING / MARINE PRODUCTS A MUST

· Experience with marine electronics a plus

· Excellent attention to detail

· Outstanding customer service skills

· Computer experience

Time Requirements:

· Job is Monday through Friday, and every other Saturday

· Base hours are 8:00 am to 5:30 pm on weekdays and 8:00 am to 3 pm on Saturday’s

· Longer hours are sometimes required during busy times or special events

Wage: starting at $20.00 an hour, DOE
