Insurance Agent/Account Manager
Remote • Full-Time or Part-Time
Established, locally owned Insurance Agency is seeking an Insurance Agent/Account Manager to deliver exceptional customer service and help clients navigate the complexities of insurance. Join our team and become a trusted partner in protecting what matters most to our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to client inquiries by phone, email, and chat to provide information regarding policies, billing inquiries, and coverages
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals accurately and on schedule
- Guide clients through the claims process from first notice through resolution
- Investigate and resolve client concerns, escalating to management and underwriters, when needed
- Identify and recommend additional coverage options based on client’s needs
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and transactions in compliance with company and regulatory standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Prior account management experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home workspace
- Proficiency with standard office software and insurance agency management system
- Active State property & casualty insurance license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Prior experience in the insurance industry
- Familiarity with agency management system - Xanatek
- Experience working on a remote team
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
