What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Services Assistant position at English Rose?
English Rose is seeking a Part-Time Home Services Assistant to ensure the interior and exterior of our six beautiful residential care homes located in Edina, Minnesota are thoroughly cleaned and sanitary.
Shift: Days Monday - Friday, 24 hours per week with opportunity to grow to full time
Wage Range: $19 - $21 per hour
Support you will provide will vary day to day but consists of:
- Deep cleaning beautiful residential homes
- Sweep debris from sidewalks and decks
- Clean windows and light fixtures
- Dusting and organization
- Floor care, including deep cleaning hardwood floors, tile and shampooing carpet
- Remove and properly dispose of garbage and recyclable materials
- Cleaning of mop boards and vents
- Deep cleaning of living & office spaces and bathrooms
- Disinfecting surfaces
- Replenish cleaning supplies in the home
- Other cleaning tasks as directed by Maintenance Superintendent.
Criteria for success:
- Attention to detail required to create an immaculate living environment and great customer service as you interact with seniors in their home
- Strong work ethic
- Collaborative work style as you'll be working with a partner to achieve daily cleaning needs
- Ability to bend at waist, kneel, crouch and lift or push 50 pounds
- Professional and positive attitude as you'll be interacting with our Residents as you do your work
- Dependable
- Current MN driver's license and clean driving record
