Job Summary
The Office Coordinator is responsible for verifying insurance benefits for all patients for procedures. Assists in obtaining authorizations for specific exams. Ability to generate referrals to other providers. Assists in scheduling tests and procedures when necessary. Assists Office Manager as needed.
Minimum rate: $18.00/hour

- A minimum of 1-2 years of patient scheduling and insurance benefits/authorization related experience preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) required
- Ability to read, write, type, proof, and edit non-routine correspondence, tables, forms, and the like for punctuation, spelling, grammar, and typographical errors as well as draft routine correspondence, perform noncomplex arithmetic calculations, and maintain record keeping and filing systems.
- Knowledge of various insurance information needed to complete accurate and timely pre-registrations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or any other applicable software.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with all patients, medical center employees and physicians. Must exhibit a professional demeanor and cooperative team approach.
- Ability to complete needed tasks with speed and accuracy.
- High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
Minimum rate: $18.00/hour
