Job Summary

Under supervision, cleans, sterilizes and assembles patient care equipment, supplies and instruments according to prescribed procedures and techniques. Assembles surgical instruments, trays, etc. Sterilizes instruments, equipment, linens and a variety of supplies such as surgical packs, treatment trays and the like using steam or gas sterilizer. Prepares packs of supplies and wraps, labels and seals same.

• Job Essentials:** SPD experience preferred. Completion of 400 required hours required.
• Education Requirements:** HS diploma or GED required, some college preferred.
• License/Certification/Registry:** CSPD required.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
