Responsibilities

Essential Functions:• Quality Control Technicians are responsible for gathering relevant data that ensures conditions areoptimal for quality coated coil. Responsibilities include taking of paint temperature, titrations,measuring film thickness, testing inter-coat adhesion, paint hardness testing and color inspection.• Conducting inspections using measurement tools and testing equipment.• Identifying defects and documenting findings in detailed reports or digital quality managementsystems.• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards to meet customer expectations.Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse OR military environment OR completion of post high schooleducation in manufacturing/industrial• Ability to effectively and safely use a wide variety of hand measuring tools, wrenches, files, and varioussmall tools associated with Englert machines• Basic computer knowledge• Basic math since we are dealing with Infor that requires operators to input data into the system• Proficiency in navigating and using a computer.• Following instructions and Adherence to required reporting of relevant laboratory data• Attention to detail and precision• Proficiency in and maintenance of inspection tools and laboratory equipment• Strong analytical and reporting skills• Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.• One (1) year or more experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment• Experience using machineryPhysical Requirements:• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling forup work in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment• Physical ability to walk and stand on concrete for the duration of the work shift, in increments of up to6-8 hours.Work Environment• Quality Control Technicians typically work on the manufacturing floor and in the Laboratory. The roleinvolves hands-on testing and monitoring the production line. Technicians prioritize all Quality Controltests and recording of necessary data and assist the line as a secondary function once all relevant QCwork is completed. Work may require standing for long periods and handling equipment safely.Importance of the Role• Quality Control Technicians are critical to product safety, reliability, and brand reputation.
