We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth IT operations across our company, providing white-glove support to our employees, and contributing to
the efficiency and security of our IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong dedication to providing high-quality
support.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and provide first-level contact and support to ETM employees, addressing hardware, software, printing, networking, and other issues. (Tier 1-2)
- Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment and software, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Assist with onboarding of new users, including setup and training/orientation.
- Management of IT inventory, including tracking and documentation of software, hardware, printers, and licenses.
- Computer provisioning for new and existing users to align with ETMs lifecycle management practices.
- Work closely with the IT team as needed to contribute to projects that enhance our technological infrastructure.
- Create training documentation and procedures for user-facing systems and best practice IT procedures.
- Experience utilizing a helpdesk and RMM is a plus.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Certifications are a plus (A , Sec , Net , etc).
- Proven experience in an IT support role with a strong understanding of computer systems, hardware, software, and networks.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally within a team and with non-technical end users.
- Familiarity with Microsoft environments, services (AD, DNS, GPOs, DFS, etc), and management tools.
- Willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
