POSITION TITLE: General Laborer
I. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position may include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, and using a variety
II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Use of measuring tools to verify measurements and dimensions, examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
· Mark or tag identification on parts per quality standards
· (If applicable) Read blue prints and record information such as the number of products tested, meter readings with dates and times of product production
· Operate equipment as needed and observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators and supervision of malfunctions
· Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually or using hoists
· Cleaning and maintaining work spaces organization.
· Ensuring safe and clear work environment is maintained
III. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
· Some experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred but not required
· Attention and care required to prevent injury to others when performing work.
· Ability to work in a team environment and have a desire to assist in various duties and departments as needed
· Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen
