Engines, Inc. is looking for skilled, dependable machinists to join our team in Milton, WV. We are especially interested in individuals with hands-on experience setting up and operating manual mills and lathes, reading blueprints, and producing quality machined parts.

What You'll Be Doing

• Set up and operate manual mills and/or lathes to machine metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and machining specifications.
• Machine parts to specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform milling, turning, drilling, boring, threading, and other machining operations as required.
• Use precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to inspect finished work.
• Select appropriate tooling and make machine adjustments to achieve quality results.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and maintain consistent workmanship.
• Operate CNC equipment when qualified and needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production requirements.

What We're Looking For

• 3 years of hands-on mill or lathe machining experience preferred.
• Experience operating manual mills and/or manual lathes strongly preferred.
• Ability to set up machines and perform machining operations with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand machining tolerances.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Understanding of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and basic shop math.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

CNC experience, including setup, operation, or G-code knowledge, is a plus but is not required for candidates with strong manual machining skills.

Schedule

• 1st and 2nd shift positions available
• Full-time employment
• Overtime opportunities, including Saturdays as needed
