Design, develop, and maintain COBOL batch and online applications in an enterprise mainframe environment.
Develop and modify programs involving DB2 databases and VSAM files.
Perform analysis, coding, unit testing, and debugging of mainframe applications.
Handle production support, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and defect fixes.
Manage code migrations using CHANGEMAN ZMF, including check-in/check-out, package creation, and promotions.
Participate in release management activities, ensuring proper approvals and audit compliance.
Work with JCL for batch job execution, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
Conduct impact analysis for enhancements and regulatory changes.
Collaborate with QA, release, and operations teams for smooth deployments.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and SDLC processes.
