Job Description:
An entry level field position for someone with experience with hand tools, software knowledge, and minimal to no climbing experience. The position frequently requires activities like climbing, twisting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The position requires the employee to regularly lift and/or move at least 50 pounds. This is a labor-intensive position that is considered Safety-Sensitive.
Job Responsibilities:
- Helps with the construction of cellular towers. This includes but is not limited to labor intensive tasks, maintaining safety on-site, and documenting work tasks.
- Scope of work includes climbing up to 300ft .
- Running AC & DC wiring
- Performing QA audits
- Tower Top Radio Installation
- Installing fiber and coaxial jumpers
- Support Sweep and Fiber Testing
- Installing Ground Equipment
- Decommissioning Equipment
- Technology Modernizations
- Supporting and troubleshooting antennas, coaxial lines
- Utilizing software programs for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must be located in the United States.
- Needs to have common construction knowledge.
- Must supply hand tools. (company list available)
- Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
- Must be comfortable working at extreme heights.
- Must be open to travel both in and out of the state.
- Possess the ability and desire to work in a team environment, maintain quality work, and execute safety at all times.
- Must be able to operate power tools, hand tools, and perform a variety of labor-intensive tasks.
- MUST be able to pass a background and drug screen (no felony charges) and have a clean driving record (no DUI's).
