Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative professional to join our team as a DRE Exterior Lighting Engineer.
Must have experience designing, releasing Automotive exterior lighting systems The ideal candidate will have some background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience in Releasing, Testing and project management.

Responsibilities
- Create and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and system layouts adhering to ASME codes & standards.
- Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve design or operational issues in automotive lighting systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible for production while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage project scheduling to meet deadlines for design, testing, and deployment phases.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ASME codes & standards throughout the design process.
Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with relevant experience in mechanical design or system engineering.
- Experience working with CAD software.
- Familiarity with schematics creation, drafting, and mechanical design principles.
- Experience in project scheduling, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems using GD&T, CAD tools, like Catia.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
