Here's What You Will Do
- Lead kick-off and project requirement meetings.
- Complete advanced design, development and testing of electrical equipment and systems, industrial process control systems, computers, computer systems and networks, and computer software.
- Conduct the installation, commissioning and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems – which may include travel to the customer location.
- Set up and operates specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
- Conduct advanced PLC programming, HMI design, and electrical design.
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting, testing, and debugging.
- Create and update project documentation in accordance with prescribed standards.
- Support on-site field service and emergency calls.
- May assist with quoting projects, writing specifications, and creating schedules and technical reports.
- Use independent judgement in problem solving following established guidelines.
- Give technical guidance to less experienced engineers or technicians assigned to work on a common project.
- May act as own project manager for assigned projects.

Requirements
Minimally, we are looking for:
- 2 years education in automation related coursework and 4 years of work-related experience OR 4 year degree in electrical or related field of engineering and 2 years of related work experience.
- Proficiency in Outlook/Microsoft Office products.
- Hold valid driver’s license with ability to drive to client sites.
