We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your welding skills, earn industry certifications, and advance through a clear wage progression program.
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday | 4-Day Work Week
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM–2:00 AM
- Overtime as assigned on Fridays
- Paid holidays, vacation, and PTO
Starting Pay
- 1st Shift: $24 /hour
- 2nd Shift: $24/hour $2.50/hour shift premium
Clear Progression to $28 /Hour
- Level 1 – $24 /hour: Complete weld certification testing (CWB AWS) and develop skills in weld quality standards, blueprint reading, and repair techniques.
- Level 2 – $26/hour: Perform high-quality welds with minimal defects and complete advanced weld testing and fabrication projects.
- Level 3 – $28/hour: Train on advanced equipment, including robotic welders and roll forming; work across multiple stations and be recognized as a top performer.

What You'll Do
- Set up and operate welding equipment according to job specifications and established welding procedures.
- Connect welding cables and adjust amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse settings as directed.
- Perform MIG and other welding processes as required.
- Weld components in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions.
- Position, align, clamp, and tack parts using jigs, fixtures, and other tools.
- Read and follow welding instructions, drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Maintain proper arc length, travel speed, and weld penetration to produce quality welds.
- Inspect completed welds for bead size, appearance, penetration, and overall quality.
- Apply filler rod or welding material as needed.
- Clean and prepare surfaces before welding.
- Remove excess weld, slag, and spatter.
- Repair broken, cracked, or defective parts as needed.
- Prepare parts for welding by grinding, grooving, or otherwise cleaning surfaces.
- Preheat workpieces when required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of welding experience or related training preferred.
- Ability to read and follow basic written and verbal instructions.
- Basic understanding of measurements, fractions, and geometry.
- Ability to identify quality welds and recognize defects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience is a plus.
- Welding certification or technical training is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent use of hands, fingers, and arms for welding, handling, and positioning materials.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and balance as needed.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to welding fumes, airborne particles, noise, and moving mechanical equipment.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.

Work Environment
This position works in a manufacturing environment. Employees may be exposed to welding fumes, airborne particles, wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and loud noise. Safety procedures and required personal protective equipment must be followed at all times.
