Summary
Engineering Plus, Inc. is currently seeking to fill the position of Project Engineer primarily focused on Roadway and Bridge project design. This position is based in our Meridian, MS office. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in civil engineering projects focused on DOT or MS State Aid roadway and bridge design including bridge replacement and maintenance projects. The candidate will be highly motivated, organized, comfortable working and communicating with clients and enjoys being part of a growing engineering team working in the Mississippi Counties served by Engineering Plus (Lauderdale, Kemper, Smith and Noxubee)
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare design drawings for various DOT and MS State Aid projects utilizing AutoCad Civil 3d
· Assist in preparation of project cost estimates
· Communication with county officials regarding project updates
· Perform other duties as requested
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
· Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
· Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience and knowledgeable in the field of roadway and bridge design
· Proficient in AutoCad Civil 3d and other essential programs for design
