Summer Camp STEM Coach

Come be a part of our team this summer teaching engineering & technology to kids at the coolest STEM Camps around. Do you love Engineering, Robotics, Game Design or Minecraft? If you love working with kids then apply today!

As an Engineering for Kids Coach, it will be your responsibility to inspire your students while delivering quality education to them. You will be trained on the Engineering for Kids curriculum and given the tools to provide personalized instruction.

We are currently looking for STEM coaches with exceptional leadership skills that we can train to lead our summer camp programs.

Your Specific Duties Will Include

Teaching the Engineering for Kids programs

Managing the day-to-day operations of the classes, control inventory, build objects in curriculum while managing assistant teachers and students

Developing rapport with parents and students and establishing a fun learning environment

Communicating student's successes and challenges to the Program Manager

Maintaining a positive attitude and demonstrating enthusiasm for teaching our curriculum

Requirements

Available to work 8:00-4:00 Mon-Fri throughout the summer (June 13 through Aug 12)

Reliable transportation

Must obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card

Preference given to those with experience as an educator, trainer, and those currently pursuing a degree in education or engineering.

Apprentice Camp Coaches (Age 8 )

• Experience in computer science, programming, robotics or minecraft preferred

• Previous experience or education in an early childcare/early elementary preferred or...
• Pursuing degree in early elementary education
  
  

Full Time/Seasonal - with an opportunity to stay on PT in the fall

Compensation: 575/ week

Engineering For Kids is a STEM based program to provide hands-on, project based learning programs for children from PreK4 - 8th grade. We are passionate about our programs because we believe that early exposure to STEM education has a lasting impact on a child's future.
