What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drafter position at Engineering Design Services LLC?
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Demonstrates proficient skills in AutoCAD and CADWorx
- Read and fully understand Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID’s)
- Proficient with 2D and 3D CAD capabilities
- Develop 3D piping models & isometric drawings
- Ability to red-line & update P&ID’s
- Familiar with piping components & symbology
- Develop electrical one-line schematics
- Create control panel drawings including but not limited to panel layouts for manufacturing and loop drawings for wiring
- Produce Input/Output Maps (IO), instrument indexes and instrument datasheets
- Ability to apply client Engineering Standards as part of technical support on projects
- Ability to interpret Engineering mark-ups and accurately make drawing corrections
- Communicate, both verbally and in written form in a professional manner
