Job Overview
The Senior Analyst focuses on complex business process analysis and the creation of operational controls. You will be responsible for defining the methodologies used to track revenue and ensure the integrity of financial data. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive financial expertise to analyze complex data, develop strategic insights, and support organizational decision-making. Your work will directly contribute to optimizing financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving strategic planning initiatives. Responsibilities
- Describe and create defined business and operations controls; perform business process analysis to improve program efficiency.
- Conduct financial analysis and monitoring of action plans submitted by taxing jurisdictions; document enabling legislation and revenue use.
- Maintain submission templates and review methodologies to ensure data is accurate and reliable for the duration of the award.
- Coordinate the development of Knowledge data repositories, ensuring site content which meets Section 508 compliance standards.
- Implement standardized data entry protocols and identify discrepancies in reported jurisdictional data.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure organizational goals are met efficiently.
- Perform account analysis and reconcile financial data using advanced financial software tools.
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives by providing insights into pricing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on corporate accounting matters including IFRS standards, technical accounting issues, and internal control assessments.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of SOX compliance requirements and regulatory reporting standards.
- Expertise in IFRS, GAAP, and technical accounting principles.
- Proficiency in financial report writing and interpretation of complex financial statements.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Advanced knowledge of financial concepts such as profit & loss analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Skilled in using financial software platforms for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
Qualifications:
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree in any field, provided it included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
- 10 years in financial analysis, budgeting, or business management functions in enterprise setting or in a goverment agency.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
