Technician - Welding

JOB TITLE: Welder

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• TIG and MIG Welding of Aluminum and Steel & Stainless Steel
• Work on welding/fabrication projects in the shop and on vessels.
• Travel to vessels when necessary to complete work.
• Read blueprints and specifications to plan work and fabrication layout
• Performs hand grinding and polishing, prepare materials
• Exceeds quality standards
• Complete all required paperwork including labor reporting
• Work safely & maintain work area with high standards of housekeeping.
• Heating – Oxygen/Propane Heating Torch.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One to two years of related experience or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to lead a team and assist the Project Manager.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Salary: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
