Position Overview
Trains and directs a group of associates in the movement of merchandise through the department within specified productivity, cost, and quality standards.
Essential Job Functions
Production Inventory Control All work order issuance, processing, and management to ensure timely production in accordance with the plant operating plan. Cycle count program management ensuring accurate and timely counts in accordance with corporate cycle count program and meeting/exceeding external audit requirements. Change orders meeting management and support of the management team in making decisions on accepting or rejecting any changes and managing the execution of the changes within our system and external documents. Own in-house clear to build program to prevent shortages during the production process LBT production scheduling: Slotting Board Control Schedule adherence tracking SIOP rules/mapping control Warehouse and Materials

Position Overview
Trains and directs a group of associates in the movement of merchandise through the department within specified productivity, cost, and quality standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Follows 6S guidelines to promote and sustain a high level of productivity and safety.
- Assigns, directs, and monitors the work of production inventory control (PIC) associates.
- Warehouse and materials controls from order entry to shipment of the product
- Designs and implements standard work procedures to increase productivity and improve service within assigned departments.
- Motivates associates to ensure that predetermined productivity, cost, and quality standards are achieved or exceeded.
- Trains new associates.
- Prepares and submits daily and weekly paperwork.
- Manages proper staffing requirements based on volume.
- Responsible for controls and processes around material issuance and delivery within the plant. Ensuring control and accuracy of inventory counts
- The reporting and tracking of all shortages within the plant
- Controls and management of the shipping area
- Controls and management of the receiving area
- Leads/directs Aftermarket work order to shipment process to ensure the plant is meeting customer demand for parts orders on time.
- Responsible for the review of E&O inventory, finding substitution options and/or disposal of inventory including tracking and disposal within the corporate policy.
- Most frequent contacts: Director of Manufacturing and General Manager
- Utilizing lean/CI tools to improve material delivery and expeditious movement of inventory.
- Ensures uniform execution of policies and procedures to all associates.
- Works within facility budgets.
- Disciplines associates in accordance to current policies and procedures.
- Manage workflows, work orders and inventory control accuracy
- Minimum formal education: High School Degree/ GED.
- Minimum job content knowledge: Basic knowledge of lean/CI techniques. Ability to handle people under high-stress situations.
- Minimum experience: Six (6) months' distribution or manufacturing experience.
- Specific jobs that could prepare an individual for this job: Work managing or supervising in a production environment; Operations Scheduler; Merchandise Coordinator, Loss Prevention Supervisor.
- The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas were certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.
- For the most part, ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
- Travel required for project support, mostly in an outdoor environment
- Sit or stand as needed
- Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
- Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.
- Proper lifting techniques required.
