Job Title:  Quality Auditor & Quality Audit Supervisor (Previous Quality Tech or QE Experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Auditor to support ongoing quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple production lines. This role is responsible for real-time data analysis, audit execution, and corrective action validation, ensuring consistent product quality and driving measurable reductions in defects.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in manufacturing quality systems, demonstrates analytical thinking, and can operate independently while maintaining clear communication with on-site and customer stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

Audit & Monitoring

  • Conduct real-time audits of production processes across assigned lines
  • Monitor quality metrics including PPM, defect trends, and station-level performance
  • Validate adherence to standard work, control plans, and quality procedures
  • Identify process deviations and escalate risks proactively

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze daily and weekly quality data to identify trends, shifts, and emerging risks
  • Develop and maintain dashboards (Excel / Power BI) to communicate performance
  • Generate clear, actionable reports for leadership and customer review
  • Track effectiveness of containment and corrective actions

Continuous Improvement

  • Support root cause analysis using tools such as:
    • 5 Whys
    • Fishbone (Ishikawa)
    • Pareto analysis
  • Recommend process improvements to reduce defects and variation
  • Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure sustainable corrective actions

Customer Interface

  • Act as a liaison between operations and customer quality teams
  • Provide professional, data-driven updates to customers
  • Support customer audits and quality reviews

 

Qualifications

Required

  • 3–7 years experience in manufacturing quality (automotive preferred)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • PPM tracking
    • Defect classification systems
    • Layered process audits (LPA)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling)
  • Experience with quality tools (5 Why, Pareto, trend analysis)
  • Ability to interpret and act on production and quality data

Preferred

  • Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 standards
  • Experience supporting containment operations or third-party quality services
  • Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)

Work Structure

  • Onsite Positon
  • Supports multiple production lines (e.g., Driver / Passenger / Rear splits)
  • May require flexible hours aligned with production shifts

  • Reduction in PPM and defect recurrence
  • Accuracy and timeliness of reporting
  • Effectiveness of corrective action validation
  • Customer satisfaction and confidence

This role is critical in transitioning from reactive containment to proactive quality control, providing customers with a high level of confidence in process stability and continuous improvement.
