Warehouse Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

Employment Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

Shift: 2nd Shift (2pm - 10:30pm, Mon-Fri)

Pay Bracket $15.09 - $19.60

Job Summary:

Responsible for the movement of all materials within the factory. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm. Occasionally there are required Saturdays during peak period.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the accuracy of all orders shipped by use of pick list, packing list and bill of lading
• Responsible for the receiving of all materials and associated paper work
• Responsible for proper packing for each order that is shipped
• To communicate with supervision any unsafe conditions that may exist.
• To maintain material handling equipment, verify through use of daily forklift checklist.
• To operate any material handling equipment in a safe and orderly manner in accordance with OSHA requirements.
• Perform good housekeeping practices and promote safety
• Perform other assigned duties as assigned by supervision

Skills, Qualifications, Education and/or Relevant Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Be a good team worker
• Be able to communicate (written, verbal, and comprehension) in English
• Capable of learning relevant computer skills
• Experience with material handling equipment such as RF scanners, sitdown/stand up forklifts, pallet jacks,, etc.
  
  
  

Physical/Mental Demands:

• Able to move freely throughout work area
• Be able to climb ladders and work on platforms
• Ability to lift 70 lbs
