What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trimmer (Aluminum) position at Engineered Metals & Composites?
Schedule:
1st shift - Mon-Fri 6am - 2:30pm (a few Saturdays throughout the year)
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Operating circular miter saws
- Operating band saws
- Using fixtures and measuring devices to ensure work is to print
- Maintaining 5S of area
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications include:
- Verifiable experience using band saws, miter saws, and chop saws
- Verifiable experience using measuring devices and fixtures
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record is required
- Sense of urgency and high attention to detail
Ability to:
- multitask and be versatile in daily duties
- follow verbal and written directions
- work in a team setting
- work in a fast-paced environment
- stand for duration of shift
- lift 20 - 50 lbs. consistently throughout the entirety of shift
