Job Summary
This position is primarily responsible for executing shipping and receiving tasks to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. It also includes light production duties to support on-time production and uphold high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.Job Description
- Safely load and unload trucks, tankers, and trailers. Transport finished goods and raw materials throughout the facility using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Generate and print labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) from the WERCS software system.
- Support inventory management by assisting with material tracking and performing inventory counts.
- Organize and retrieve raw materials, finished goods, and supplies from warehouse storage locations.
- Respond promptly to spills following clean up procedures.
- Prepare drums and bins for shipment.
- Assist in investigating customer complaints.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through routine housekeeping tasks.
- Inspect drums, bins, and containers for shipment.
- Communicate shipment delays to supervisor and coordinate timely resolution.
- Schedule carrier pickups and confirm transportation arrangements for outbound shipments.
- Confirm paperwork is complete for all shipments and correct when needed.
