eNGINE is looking for a Principal Azure Capacity Manager to lead capacity planning and optimization across a highly secure, large-scale Azure environment. This role ensures resilient, right-sized capacity across compute, storage, networking, and platform services while partnering closely with SRE and engineering teams to support performance, reliability, and compliance goals.
What You’ll Do
- Own the Azure capacity operating model: forecasting, modeling, monitoring, and optimization
- Ensure sufficient buffer and resilience to meet SLOs, RTO/RPO, and reliability targets
- Partner with SREs to implement autoscaling, performance baselines, and tuning strategies
- Translate demand forecasts into capacity and cost optimization plans
- Drive governance, reporting, and documentation to support compliance expectations
What You Bring
- 10 years in infrastructure capacity or performance engineering
- Deep experience across compute, storage, networking, and platform services in Azure
- Strong data analysis and forecasting skills
- Experience in regulated or high-control environments
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate with senior stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Multi-region or DR capacity planning experience
- Familiarity with reliability engineering (SLIs/SLOs, error budgets)
