Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems, including but not limited to replacing light bulbs and sockets, cleaning and repairing circuit breaker panels, etc.
- Assist in the setup of equipment, machines and other essential systems as well as conduct repairs when necessary
- Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
- Inspect alarm systems, fire protection, and schedule repairs when needed.
- Perform manual repairs when necessary (rebuild pumps, replace electric motors, etc.)
- Conduct general upkeep procedures, such as painting, carpentry, and other tasks as assigned
- Assist in ordering and stocking parts
- Maintain and perform a preventative maintence schedule for all mechanical equipment.
- Suggest improvements, help train new personnel, communicate all issues, work overtime when needed
- Follow directions from team leads, supervisors and managers, be proactive and helpful
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, be at your workstation on time daily

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pumps, and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
- Must be 18 years old, high school diploma preferred, detail oriented, automotive/mechanical ability a plus
- Willingness and understanding you will get dirty at times, and may have to work with chemicals
- Skill and ability of working with your hands, manual tools (must provide your own) and other instruments
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand & work on your feet for 8 hours a day and under pressure at times
- Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication and decision-making skills
- Self-starting and motivated; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others
- Adhere to all safety rules, give it your all every day, must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
