Position Overview
Engine & Accessory, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to take full ownership of the accounts payable process.
This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our Controller by handling all day-to-day AP functions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with NetSuite and can manage the full AP cycle independently, while working within an approval structure.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (Primary Focus)
- Process vendor invoices accurately and timely within NetSuite
- Perform 2-way and 3-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice)
- Maintain and organize vendor records and documentation
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs (checks, ACH, credit cards)
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor AP aging and ensure timely payments
- Communicate with vendors regarding billing issues and payment status
- Full cycle AP process
- Willing to take on other responsibilities.
Process & System Accuracy
- Ensure all transactions are coded correctly to pertinent GL accounts
- Assist in maintaining clean and accurate financial data in NetSuite
- Identify and help resolve inefficiencies in AP workflow
- Support internal controls and approval processes
Support to Controller
- Assist with month-end close related to AP accruals.
- Provide reporting and backup documentation as needed
- Work under the direction of the Controller for approvals and process improvements
Qualifications
- Required: 2 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Required: Hands-on experience with NetSuite
- Strong understanding of AP processes and internal controls
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage high invoice volume efficiently
- Strong organizational and communication skills

Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
