Software Developer ( GEMS)

What You Can Expect As a Software Developer, you will collaborate with a dynamic software development team to design and build web and cloud-based applications using the Microsoft .NET framework, the Azure platform, and/or Oracle PL/SQL. In this role, you will report to the Director of Solution Delivery, contributing to the team’s transformation by implementing redesigned systems and processes powered by the latest digital technologies. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, with a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience working with C# and NET frameworks or Oracle PL/SQL. In lieu of a four-year degree, you bring a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in software development, during which you have gained a strong understanding of the field and demonstrated the ability to design and develop web and cloud-based applications Experienced with Microsoft SQL Server, including database performance tuning, and have a strong understanding of Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage Expertise in ETL tools and processes, with proven experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and writing complex PL/SQL scripts for data manipulation, validation, and management Proficient in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug applications effectively Experience with Git or other version control systems and follow best practices for version control and collaboration Perform code reviews based on established standards and actively contribute to refining those standards Ability to collaborate effectively with product owners, architects, and system owners in testing and deploying new features Additional Details This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Salary : $80,000 - $126,000
